Brotherly Advice

My latest brotherly talk with my 15-year-old sister

Lil Sis: “Will you be here on Wednesday?”

Vince: “Well I have work”

Lil Sis: “Oh, I was going to introduce you…”

Vince: “Introduce me to who? Your boyfriend?”

Lil Sis: “He’s not my boyfriend.”

Vince: “So why are you making a big deal out of it? What’s with the introduction and stuff?”

Lil Sis: “Mom told me to…”

Vince: “OMG!”

Lil Sis: “I’m a good daughter…”

Vince: “Well behaved women rarely make history!

I’ve told you this!

Don’t ever let anyone make decisions for you.

Decide on your own.

If you think he’s a good guy then you make your own conclusions!

Trust yourself.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you whether you should or shouldn’t date someone.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you what’s right or what’s wrong.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you what you can or can’t do.

Most of all, NEVER, under any circumstances, let anyone ever tell you what to do!!!

Now get out of my room…”
